Program Description
Rukhsar Social Welfare Society (RSWS) runs a dedicated initiative to reduce school dropout rates among children from underprivileged families in rural Bihar. Studies reveal that financial constraints—such as the inability to afford stationery, uniforms, textbooks, and school fees—are key reasons children leave school, forcing them into labor to support their families.
With the help of volunteers, RSWS identifies dropouts by working closely with school officials and village communities. Children aged 6-15 years in need of assistance are provided with school fees, stationery, uniforms, textbooks, and other essential supplies, ensuring they can continue their education and secure a better future.
